Psychotherapy

Are you troubled by anxiety, depression, self-doubt or grief? Do you feel as if you are constantly running but getting nowhere? Do you feel as if you no longer recognize yourself? What if these feelings were signs of a breakthrough that could lead you to a fuller sense of yourself, your gifts and talents, and your purpose in life? As a therapist and spiritual director, I have worked with many people just like you, helping them find meaning and purpose in their fear, sadness and uncertainty and find greater wholeness, energy and creativity.

I specialize in helping people with the spiritual aspects of challenges such as anxiety, depression, loss, illness, LGBT issues, trauma, and addiction. I also help people facing mid-life and elder issues, such as the “sandwich generation”, being a family caregiver and redefining work and career.

I bring 30 years of social work and teaching experience as well as my training as a spiritual director to my work as a therapist. Depending on your needs and interests, I will incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including narrative, humanistic, solution oriented and cognitive behavioral.

I offer a free consultation to help you decide whether I am the right therapist for you. Please call (716) 868-3717 or email  me at CDietz4@roadrunner.com.
